Clench&Blistah
4-year-old band consisting of 2 MCs, one is from East Kanto, Ibaragi and the second from West Kanto, Sizuoka. Their vocals are so unique that nothing can resemble them. You can tell listening to their past recordings. At the moment, they invited U-Key zone who makes tracks for CL★BL and they call themselves“Project”. They are constantly recording with DJs/producers such as DJ 02, DJ CASH$ and DJ ARTZa.k.a ALL BACK. Their high-quality live performances had gained a very good reputation, they played 37 gigs in 2004. They were featured on records by Kumi Koda, Namie Amuro, Miho Karasawa and Crystal Kay and occasionally contribute lyrics for those artists. Clench Born in Shizuoka. Since he was very young, he started listening to foreign under the influence of his 8-years-older brother. He also started break dancing at an early age, after seeing Shingo Kazami’s TV performance. Luckily for us, he had a chance to see Bobby Brown which made him fall in love with black music. More then in a song itself, he was more interested in rap during the chorus which led him to researching and learning more about rap music. During that time, after seeing Muro performing Microphone Pager on an audition TV, he realized that Japanese also could rap and so at the age of 13 he grabbed a microphone for the first time. His weapons are strong voice and a crisp rap. Mr.Blistah His father gave him a Michael Jackson tape for his 10th birthday. He was utterly amazed by MJ’s music and by the thought that music like that even existed. That triggered his interest in black music, and so he started listening to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Heavy D, etc. He soon decided that just listening wasn't enough for him, that he wanted to make music himself. At the age of 19 he started his DJ career. During that early stage, he visited Sanpin camp at Hibiya Yagai Ongakudo (which since then grew to become a major Hip Hop event). That event had a huge influence on him, making him realize that rapping was the medium through which he wanted to express himself - he grabbed a microphone and a pen. He performed lots of live performances and he sold all 1,000 copies of his self-produced and self-released album “Key; zuna” when he was 23. By the time he was 25, he has had sent his demo to hundreds of labels but it wasn't until he was featured on Akina Nakamori's album. He has characteristic of unique voice and flow.. DISCOGRAPHY
