Since she was a kid, music has been a part of her life.
She was a member of a choir when she was younger.
She debuted as a solo singer at the age of 18 and collaborated with various artists since then,for instance, she joined Hirofumi Asamoto's "Ram Jam World" as a lead vocalist.
In 1998, she became a member of an already existing band
"m-flo". The band re-debuted with her on the vocals with 'The Tripod e.p.' released by rhythm zone label in July 1999.
With beautiful melody lines and lyrics full of love and positivity delivered in her sweet voice, LISA attracted countless listeners. "m-flo"'s every release was a smash hit. Within 2 years the band released 2 albums, 13 singles, 2 remix albums, a live album and a video.

With such a success behind her, she decided to go further.
Released a solo single on 9th of January, 2002 and marked the 7th at Oricon weekly chart.
Listeners couldn't help loving the beautiful melodies coming straight from LISA's heart, her fragile, feminine lyrics and tender voice. -- she knows who she is and then keeps challenging her unlimited possibilities......
"Positive", it's the word holding a magnificent power that stays with anyone's heart.
In April, 2002, left "m-flo" in order to make more people aware of her possibilities and her streugth as a person, as an artist and as a singer-songwriter.
She expressed herself very well with R&B sound, 3rd single, "I'm all you" that also features rap and has beautiful melody, as usual. Moreover, released 4th single "Superstar" (3/26/2003), and 1st album"JUICY MUSIC"(4/16/2003, marked the 5th at Oricon weekly chart).
This album proved that she is an artist who can produce in varied musical genres and showed how skilled she can be as a songwriter. She hasn't stoped producing since. Released many songs, such as 5th single"Flower For The Lion e.p. 〜 Peace in Love 〜 " (7/24/2003) where she experimented with reggae, 6th single "My Dearest"(1/21/2004), 7th single "SWITCH feat. Kumi Koda & Heartsdales/ I ONLY WANT TO BE WITH YOU" (4/21/2004), 8th single "So Beautiful" (6/2/2004) and then 2nd Album, a double-disc "GRATITUDE" (6/30/2004).
Disc 1 is full of new material, whereas on the second disc she covers various contemporary artists.
Needless to say, it's a brilliant, comprehensive piece of work from 2003 to 2004.

In the end of 2004, released her first ballade as a solo piece called"Only if 〜 Diamonds in the Snow e.p. 〜" (12/8/2004) Within '80s cover album "Melody Circus"(4/20/2005) that came out in 2005, she arranged famous classical '80s music to acoustic version.
October in the same year, she came back to her home field, which is R&B and released 10th single "I, Rhythm" (10/26/2005). Lyrics where she was truly honest to herself - a real woman's story told to a party tune made listeners go crazy!! On 23rd of May, 2006, she created R&B concept album"GOD SISTA" collaborating with big name track makers not only from Japan but also from the rest of the world.

Brand New LISA who is moving on to next stage, her positive power has been getting into all of you.
