SOUL'd OUT
Diggy-MO' (Main MC)
Bro.Hi (Human Beat Box / MC)
Shinnosuke (Trackmaster)
Hip Hop/ R&B group with members Diggy-MO' (Main MC), Bro.Hi(Human Beat Box/ MC) and Shinnosuke (Trackmaster). Formed in 1999. Making music was the group's main activity and started their carrier. Since 2001, they have been putting gigs in clubs around Tokyo. 2 MCs and a trackmaker -three of them created amazing, original sound and performing style, deeply rooted in black music such as Hip Hop, Classic Soul and R&B.
They made their breakthrough with the first single "Wekapipo" marking at the 16th at the Oricon Chart in January 2002. Both, the second single "Flyte Tyme" and the third "Dream Drive / Shut Out" got into the top 10 at the Oricon. In summer 2003, they performed all over Japan including, amongst many others, Summer Sonic festival. In August, they released their 1st album called "SOUL'd OUT". It marked the 3rd at the Oricon Chart in the first week of its release and sold over half a million copies. This number is really impressive for a newcomer!
Thanks to the popularity of the first album, their 4th single "Love,
Peace & Soul", which was released in November 2003, was used as a
theme song for a TV drama and it got into the top 10 in the charts.
They became one of the most popular artists in Japan. From 2004, their unlimited energy has been fully accelerated and their power has been increasing since. The first live DVD "Tour 2003 Dream'd Live" was released and their cover version of Toshinobu Kubota's "LA LA LA LOVE SONG" on which they collaborated with BoA for Kubota's tribute album brought them even more attention. In April of the same year, they released the long-awaited 5th single, "1,000,000 MONSTERS ATTACK" and it went straight into the top 10.
In early summer, they played at Mary J. Blige's concert at Nippon Budokan in Japan and again they proved their great talent. The 6th single "Magenta Magenta", which was released in July, was used as a theme song for "Soccer Documentary in July" (Nippon TV). That latin flavored tune became an instant hit and attracted them many new fans.
In November, their first winter song "BLUES" was released and quickly grabbed a position as a chart buster.
While a single "To All Tha Dreamers", which came out on the New Years Day in 2005, had been making great sales, they released the 2nd album (sharing the title with the single that was promoting it - "To All tha Dreamers") on the 2nd of February and marked the 2nd at the Oricon Chart in the first week of its release.
"Tour 2005 To All Tha Dreamers", with 11 concerts in 10 different cities held during March and April was extremely successful. In summer, just after the tour, a
single called "Dot To Tha Dot" on which they collaborated with their friends in the same label, "Skoop On Somebody" was released. Also they made "Iruka", the first single ever which contains "U-MYX software" by Japanese artist. Moreover, they got invited to represent Japan at a big, international event held at a stadium in Taiwan.

In February 2006, they released a single "Tokyo Tsushin ~Urbs Communication~" and the long-awaited 3rd album called "Alive", containing 14 fantastic tracks that cross over whole variety of musical genres.
At the moment they are preparing to start the 4th tour across Japan planned for May '06.
Diggy-MO's rapid and powerful rap and distinguished melody flow, Bro-Hi's unbelievable human beat box and Shinnosuke's sophisticated, stylish tracks perfectly co-exist together.
SOUL'd OUT keeps evolving into a monster group, growing beyond Hip Hop and R&B.
They are a true inspiration for the new generation.

Shinnosuke
Since an early age has been fascinated by art. Mainly by paintings and music. His favorites are Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci and painters from the Art Nouveau period such as Mucha andKlimt. He also has great respect for Hirohiko Araki, author of 'Jojo's adventure' manga. He's into people who have a great talent in drawing.
He believes that the drawing skill is a balance of perspective and he enjoys creating things with that thought in mind. In terms of music,he's mostly into mainstream pop with a healthy dose of funk. His goal is to be an excellent artist with a very Japanese, eclectic spirit, finding balance between high art and pop entertainment. He does arrangement, programming and melody making and chorus when they compose music. He is the key member of the band.
